Jesus told His disciples, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19)
Jesus’ last words were, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.”
We had a girls’ meeting on Thursday. It went super well with 16 girls attending and ranging in age from 12-25 years old.
I am teaching them a series called “Sowers of the Word of God.” It talks about being a soul winner and the duties of a soul winner. We have Bible verses that we are memorizing and a theme song too! It was written by Mrs Brenda Ashcraft. They have been missionaries in Mexico for years. One of her sons attended PCC, and we graduated together in 1993.
My goal is to insert a burning desire in the souls of these girls to win the lost. So many of them are so gifted in winning others to the Lord but perhaps have no idea how to do it. The practical tools and the ideas will help them. Our theme song is:
“Lord, lay some soul upon my heart
And love that soul through me;
That I may humbly do my part,And love that soul through me.”
I also have an award for the soul winner of the year. This award will to the one who brings the most souls to the Lord and also seeing them get baptized.
I am excited about this program. Every saved person can be, ought to be, and should be a soul winner for the Lord.
We concluded the program by making some homemade cards.
