New Life Bilingual Christian School has once again initiated a new school year! Although we (the Hodges family) are not present for its beginning, the excitement of what the new semester will bring remains in all our hearts. School started on Tuesday, August 13, with 171 students enrolled. The numbers are lower this year, but we trust God has brought, and will still bring those students and their families to whom He would have us minister.
Our three newest teachers- Amely Garcia, Sarah Belcher, and Bryce Chandler– seem to be off on a great start. Amely Garcia is actually our first teacher to have graduated from our own school. She started as a kindergartner, and now she is teaching K3 and K4. We were so surprised and pleased to hear that she didn’t even have crying kids on her first day!
Sarah Belcher is a PCC graduate, who visited our ministry three times on the YOM missions trips.
Bryce Chandler came for a short visit just this last semester, and by God’s leading, decided to come work in our ministry.
Please continue to pray for a smooth start to school, both for the teachers and students. Also, please pray for New Life Baptist Seminary, as it will begin its new semester this coming week.
