About two years ago, during our special watch night service, Jose Rafael came forward to share his profession of faith . Earlier, he had asked the Lord to be his personal Saviour while he was listening to BBN radio station. That night at our church, he came forward in church to make a public profession of his faith in Christ. As well, Jose was baptized at our church. It turned out that Jose would come to church occasionally but was not faithful in church attendance nor was he living for the Lord. Later, we found out that he had a girl friend and that she was pregnant out of wedlock.
Jose came and shared with us his desire in seeing his woman come to know Christ as her Saviour. Cindy came to church after the birth of their precious baby, a son. On her 4th visit last May, while the ladies were fixing the meal, the Lord opened the door for me to witness to her in one of our classrooms during which time she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Right after that, the couple decided to make things right! They went and were married in a civil ceremony– no more living together! Then they desired to take a another step and told us a about a month ago that they want to get married in our NEW LIFE church. It sounds like a September wedding is being planned.
On Sunday morning, August 14, Cindy followed the Lord in Baptism . This couple is on the right track in life. We are so proud of them; but most of all our heavenly Father is pleased with them.
