We had a great attendance this past Sunday with 298 at our annual “Back to School” Sunday. We gave the church kids backpacks, notebooks, pencils, stationaries, school shoes , etc. Every year we have our annual Sunday school promotion. The kids get to earn points from Dec to Feb. With the points, they buy their school supplies. It went very well.

Much hard work continues as we labor to complete the new church with just three weeks to go until we have our inaugural service and host the Espada Conference. Please pray for all of us as we try to meet that deadline.

Below, Bro. Samuel is shown checking out the dimensions for our new church sign. A group from Canada will arrive on Monday.  They have made us a new sign and will be bringing it.  With Bro. Sam at the top of the ladder, that is the funeral procession going by underneath.

Look what I did this week. Got me a bee’s hive. An important job for an intern!  (Joseph Hodges on the left and that’s me, the intern, on the right.)

Many people have died this past month. Please continue to pray for us as we minister to the sick, the dying, and the bereaved. So many lost souls.

We took a school field trip today and had 92 students on our bus!  We had a big day which wore out some of the younger ones as you will see in the second photo.

As always, we thank you for your prayers even when you don’t know what is our “plate” each day.  With all of the physical labor on the building, the spiritual work of the ministry, and the large student body at our school, we depend upon your prayers for us, our people, and this ministry– for safety, good health, good weather, and God’s continued blessings.

For the Cause,
Sam & Julie Hodges with Joseph, Celina, and Brooklyn
