Shared from Miss Julie’s heart…

Before we returned to the States for candidate school, there were trials and obstacles that we had to deal with. By departure time, we were both exhausted physically, emotionally, and mentally. When the trials are the greatest, that’s when I know that God is fixing to do something BIG in our ministry. I know and have known from the past that victories are just around the corner. We left Honduras and headed to the States for  candidate school with our new mission board:   Prayer Baptist Missions International, Inc. located in Boiling Springs, SC.   Here’s what the Lord had in store for me…

When the shadows of your past arise, press on
When uncertain days have filled your mind, press on
When the winds blow strong and the night seems long,
When the waves are high and your soul doth cry. press on.
When the tears began to stain your eyes, press on
For HE is Greater than he that is in this world.

That song was such an encouragement to me and was sung by a lovely family named The Moore Family.

Then God brought a special speaker to share with us. I believe with all of my heart that she was there just for me.  Her name is Margaret Stringer, and she was a missionary for 40 years in West Papua ( Irian Jaya ).  Her words of encouragement were what I needed to hear.  I heard,  and it lifted me.  I had told the Lord what I needed, and He gave His Words to me the first week while we were in the States.  Miss Stringer has written some books and has a DVD also.  Her picture can be found at the bottom of this article.

We stayed in a very nice Quality Inn, and three huge baskets of goodies were placed  in our room for our family to enjoy!  We enjoyed meeting many other missionaries at the candidate school, and our family had a wonderful enrichment week. We were blessed with so many godly preachers, ages from 30 to 72 yrs old. God has been so good and we have been blessed.

We’ve been revived and can say that it is well with our souls.
