BLESSINGS ABOUND: A lot of things have been happening. We praise the Lord for His blessings and that that the church, school, and our family are doing well as shared below. We thank you for your prayers and ask that you please continue in prayer for us and for our ministry here.

ANSWERED PRAYER FOR STARTING A HIGH SCHOOL: A few weeks ago, we traveled almost 5 hours to speak with a lawyer about our desire to add high school classes to our school, and it was a very rewarding meeting. She explained to us about the process and what was required from us. We were able to fulfill the requirements, and we gave a down payment of $1250 to start the process. As of now, we are allowed to start a high school in August for this coming school year of 2013-2014!!!

BIBLE CLUBS: Recently, we had Bible clubs. We were able to hold six Bible clubs at six different areas where our buses run. A total 262 children were present at these Bible clubs and eight children made a profession of faith! Just last week, we did eight Bible clubs, and a total of 242 children were present. Twelve kids came to know the Lord!

SALVATION: On Sunday, May 5, one adult man named Enrique came to know the Lord as his savior. We have been praying for Enrique for over a year.

ATTENDANCE: We have been averaging 250 every Sunday.

SPECIAL EVENTS: This coming Sunday on Mother’s Day, we plan to give each mother an umbrella or a bonnet and a lovely snack! In two weeks, we will be having our annual Church Fair Day. Sunday school kids will be able to play and purchase different school supplies and clothing.

BIRTHDAYS: On April 27th, we celebrated our daughter Celina’s 13th birthday. We celebrated as a family and gave her a quilt, Snoopy stationary, and a Little House on the Prairie series. She’s trying to collect these items, and we thought we should start this year. We also had her favorite meal on her birthday.

May 3rd was Samuel’s birthday. We spent his birthday with some other staff members and attended two funerals.

PRAYER REQUESTS: One of our dearest families lost their grandfather at the age of 83.

A tragedy occurred on May 3 when a driver fell asleep, ran off the road, and hit five men. Two were killed instantly. One of them came to our church about five times and worked with our construction guys a few weeks ago. He was 32 years old. One of the men hit is still in a coma. David is 17 years old and attended our church. He is in critical condition. Samuel and I have visited him in the hospital.

There have been many deaths recently in our area. Pray that the Lord will be honored & glorified through all these obstacles.

HELP WANTED: Our seminary construction is in need of groups to come down and work. Please come help pour a floor, build, install electrical wiring, work on landscaping, etc. We would love to have you!

OUR APOLOGIES:   We are so sorry about our email being hacked and that bogus email being sent out asking for money in our name.   We pray that never happens again!

That’s our report from our corner in the world. We would love to hear from you and to rejoice for how the Lord is working in your life.
