All of the mothers at church on Mother’s Day enjoyed a wonderful lunch of Baleadas (flour tortillas filled with re-fried beans and sour cream), chips, canteloupe and a sweet bread.
During lunch, each children’s Sunday School class gathered on the stage to sing a special song they had prepared (This is the 10-11 year old girls’ class)
All of the mothers received a small gift in front of the church
Our 3 and 4 year old boys and girls Sunday School had over 30 children in attendance on Mother’s Day Sunday!
The 5 year old girls made a mother’s day craft with their teacher Ada who is one of our seminary girls
Marta and Claudia worked and were ready to pass out Baleadas to the children outside after Children’s Church
The assembly line prepared the Baleadas, placed everything on plates and poured drinks!
