We woke up to a drizzle on Sunday, May 26, but by afternoon, the rain stopped!!   We had planned our big CHURCH FAIR and thanked God for the dry afternoon.  For three months prior, our church folks had earned tickets for church attendance, Bible memorization, bringing guests, etc., and the excitement built.  Church Fair was a day we had all anticipated, and God blessed us with a church attendance of 392! Those men, women, boys, and girls sat under the preaching of the Gospel as the Word was given.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent.  Isiah 55:10

After a wonderful morning in church, we all went outside to start the fun of the Church Fair.  Many activities had been planned, and each activity cost 1 ticket.  MANY PEOPLE HAD MANY TICKETS!!!   Here are some of the fun things going on at 16 different venues:

Ring Toss over Shampoo Bottles

Baseball Throw

Soccer Ball Kick

Floatable Trampoline

Nerf Gun Targets

Horse Rides

Paper Airplane Toss

Fishing for Eggs that contained prizes

A Huge Blow Up Slide

Manicures for the Ladies

Haircuts for the Men

Food:  Fried Chicken, Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Candy Store

Another blessing was that we had guests here who were a lot of help with the fair.  Brian Yohe and his daughter Isabella (just graduated from high school in Florida the week before) came down on Bella’s graduation trip to spend a week with us.  Bella helped man a booth and loved it! Brian helped w crowd control, brought fried chicken from the kitchen to the venue and helped with the trash!! He drove the bus that morning and also drove the Sunday school kids back to their homes!  He experienced real life in Honduras when he did run out of gas!  They were a huge help with our Church Fair.
