One week post accident/surgery. We would appreciate your continued prayers for our son Joseph’s eye….
Joseph had another appointment this evening for the one week post-op look at Joseph’s eye. The doctor was not pleased with his recovery. So far he could only see 20% of his right eye. The blood in his eye (we can’t see it because it’s internal ) is still “floating,” which is not good. If the blood does not settle, Joseph will need to have another surgery just to clean out the blood within his eye.
They had to give him two steroid shots under his eye ball. This evening, Joseph did complain that his eye is hurting. He is confined to home and is not allowed to go anywhere in our home except to the dining table and to the bathroom. It has been hard on the family because we have always done everything together. Joseph hates missing church, and especially this particular Sunday: Our 15th anniversary.
Please pray that the blood will settle and for no infection. Pray for us that we will keep our joy in serving Jesus.
