Our son Joseph was selected and served as a church intern at Campus Church in Pensacola FL during the summer of 2018. As part of the internship, Joseph would wrap up his internship by preaching in the Wednesday evening service of Campus Church. Joseph shared with us that he would be preaching in church on August 22.
Some time later, Samuel asked me what I would I would like to celebrate our 25th anniversary. When he asked me, he had already pictured a nice trip to Europe for our celebration. I responded that I would love to make a trip to Pensacola to hear our son preach in Campus Church. So, the trip to Europe will have to happen for another milestone occasion because we had the precious privilege of traveling to Florida and hearing Joseph preach and spending a week with him and Celina and their friends.
