Our Kindergarten graduation went very well this year with ten K5 students graduating and many other students being honored for their hard work and achievements.
We started the night off with a slide show that showcased the highlights of the year while parents and students were entering. When the program began, the kindergarteners presented their program which included singing many songs they had learned this year as well as various counting, math and reading skills. In between the kindergarteners’ parts, the other grades sang one song each that they had mastered in both English and Spanish. The student portion was finished off with the entire school heading to the stage to sing “I’m on the Winning Side.”
Pastor Hodges preached a message and then various announcements given before summer break. Surprisingly the power only went off for a short time this year– just at the end of the preaching. Following the program, there was a time of fellowship and refreshments for all of our students and their parents.
Graduation was a great success this year. We are thankful for the hard work from our staff, teachers, and students this school year. Most of all, we thank God for His blessings of another year completed and look forward to the future!
