On September 8-10, we hosted a Bible Conference with Gil Torres as our conference speaker. Bro. Torres is bilingual so translation was not needed. God blessed with good attendance and good preaching with each person there sitting under the sound of the Gospel Attendance was as follows:
Thursday night
Adults 140 Children 42 = 182
Friday night
Adults 150. Children 46= 196
Saturday
Adults 290. Children 28= 318
On Sunday, September 11, we celebrated Dia Del Niño Sunday (Kids Day). It is a tradition in our church for Bro. Samuel to preach to the whole Sunday School of kids. We had 13 tables set up and called it Candy Land. All the kids received a personal bag and they walked through the church property to get their goodies:) Our attendance that day was blessed by the Lord: 203 adults and 333 children = 536 people in attendance!
The Harvest: During the Bible Conference and on Kids’ Day, the Lord blessed and we know several spiritual decisions were made: 18 adults and teens made a profession of faith and 5 children got saved. The Word was preached and we pray to see many more results from the conference and from the kid’s day. God’s Word never goes out void.
