Praise the Lord that my prayers have been answered!!! God is so good to us. He is constantly blessing us with untold blessing!
For example, for quite a while, Celina and Joseph have been wanting a dog– more specifically: a boxer! We saw one while we were in San Pedro, which is about 5 hours away. The puppy in the store was quite pricey, and we really didn’t want to bother with a dog on our vacation. We didn’t buy the puppy, and Celina was really disappointed– thinking that pup was probably the one and only last boxer in the whole country of Honduras!!! I talked to Celina and told her to wait and pray for who knew but that we might get a better deal in Tegucigalpa.
After church on a recent Sunday, while Samuel was driving the bus, he saw 4 little boxers coming out of a church member’s home. Their dog had 2 month old puppies. Samuel shared with Martha about our kids’ desire in wanting to buy one while we were in San Pedro. Martha’s dad came out of the house and told Samuel: “Take one, we want to give it to you!!!” Samuel came back to the church and waited to share the news with our three kids. Our “puppy prayer” was answered and Bogart is his name!!!
